Philippe Marti is a researcher at ETH Zurich and has focused his work on the computational aspects of Geophysical and Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics (GAFD). He is working both on novel algorithms for spectral methods as well as the implementation on HPC systems. He is the author of two large scale simulations. The first specifically for the full sphere geometry, the second is a generic framework for Cartesian, spherical and cylindrical geometries, named QuICC. He received his PhD fro ETH Zurich in 2012.
