Biography
Gabriel Wlazlowski is professor at Warsaw University of Technology and also affiliated assistant professor at University of Washington. He did PhD in 2010, followed by three years postdoc at University of Washington. His scientific interests concern the theoretical study of various dynamical phenomena in strongly correlated and superfluid many-body Fermi systems, mainly nuclear systems and ultra-cold atomic gases. The main theoretical framework that he works with is the superfluid variant of Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TDDFT). In his studies, he combines the TDDFT framework with computing capabilities delivered by present top-tier systems and with non-trivial numerical and computational implementations, which allow him to track at microscopic level superfluid dynamics of physical systems consisting of thousands of interacting particles.
