Robert Schade
Biography
Dr. Robert Schade is a senior researcher holding a position as HPC domain advisor for theoretical physics and chemistry at Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing (PC²) of Paderborn University. He has obtained his Ph.D. from Georg-August University Goettingen for the development of new methods for strongly correlated electron systems combining DFT and RDMFT.
He is a co-developer of the quantum chemistry and solid-state physics program CP2K (https://www.cp2k.org/) and focuses on massively parallel algorithms that utilize mixed-precision algorithms and accelerators like GPUs or FPGAs.
