Dr. Gaofeng Zhao is currently a Professor at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Tianjin University China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2010, with major in Rock Mechanics. He joined UNSW Australia in 2011 as a lecturer and promoted to senior lecturer in 2014. Then he was recruited as a proessfor at Tianjin University in 2015. His research fields include fundamental and applied researches of rock mechanics, including discrete numerical methods, mutiphysical modelling, 3D printing, etc.
