I did my undergraduate study at Iran University of Science & Technology, Tehran, and my graduate studies at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan, and at the University of Basel. Now I am working at the University of Paderborn, Germany, as a group leader. In recent years, I have been involved in developing methods to model the interaction of atomistic systems using machine learning techniques as well as applying the methods to material discovery by means of crystal structure prediction.
