Marta Jaros
Biography
Marta Jaros is a research assistant at Biomedical Ultrasound Group at
UCL. She is also a PhD student at the Faculty of Information Technology
at Brno University of Technology where she received her MSc in Computer
Science in 2016. In 2016, Marta attended PRACE Summer of HPC and spent
two months at Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre in UK where she worked
under Dr. Neelofer Banglawala and lately received the HPC Ambassador
Award for the best project. As a PhD student, Marta is a member of the
Supercomputing Technologies Research Group where she focuses on the
cluster management systems and job scheduling.
For last four years, Marta has been developing a workflow management
system called k-Dispatch. k-Dispatch introduces a middleware layer that
allows clinical end-users to upload biomedical workflows using a simple
GUI interface and automates the execution on remote clusters behind the
scenes.
