Qinglei Cao is a PhD student at the Innovative Computing Laboratory, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, supervised by Prof. Jack Dongarra and Prof. George Bosilca. He received his B.S. in information and computational science from Hunan University and M.S. in computer application technology from the Ocean University of China, and worked at the National University of Defense Technology as a software engineer for more than three years. His research interests involve distributed/parallel computing, task-based runtime system, and linear algebra, including PaRSEC, DPLASMA, HiCMA, and Open MPI.
