SUMMARY:Swiss Chapter Women in HPC
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nWHPC is the only international organization w
orking to improve equity, diversity and inclusion in High Performance Comp
uting. The chapter is being formed by senior professionals scientists and
engineers working in Switzerland, representing academia, large research c
entre, national HPC Centre and the IT industry. The mission of WHPC is to
"promote, build and leverage a diverse and inclusive HPC workforce by enab
ling and energising those in the HPC community to increase the participati
on of women and highlight their contribution to the success of supercomput
ing. To ensure that women are treated fairly and have equal opportunities
to succeed in their chosen HPC career". The minisymposium will be comprise
d of 1 short intro, 3 talks followed by a panel discussion with all the sp
eakers and organizers on actions, existing programmes and emerging proposa
ls to enable more diversity and inclusivity.\n\nTowards a Modular Supercom
