SUMMARY:Recent Advances in Maxwell Solvers for PIC Simulations Across Arch
 itectures
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nRecent Advances in Maxwell Solvers for PIC Si
mulations Across Architectures\n\nHu, Glusa\n\nIn this talk we present our
experiences in developing architecture-independent linear solversfor a pa
rticle-in-cell simulation code.  The algebraic multigrid solvers are
part of theTrilinos library MueLu.  The solvers utilize the Kokkos ec
osystem (Kokkos core and KokkosKernels) for portability across architectur
es.  We will briefly describe the simulation codeand the underlying s
olver algorithms.  We'll then describe some of the challenges faced&n
bsp; inimproving both strong and weak scaling across architectures, as wel
l as solution approachesto those challenges.  Finally, we'll present
numerical results across a variety of architectur(CPU, ARM, and GPU) that
validate our approach.\n\nDomain: CS and Math, Physics, Engineering
