SUMMARY:Orchestration for Time Critical Emergency Response Simulations
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nOrchestration for Time Critical Emergency Res
ponse Simulations\n\nGoubier\n\nWhen responding to a disaster, simulations
can be used for early warning and emergency response. However, very early
on, deadlines are extremely tights, the source of the disaster is uncerta
in, and it is critical to have an early assessment. Using the case of a ts
unamigenic earthquake, the LEXIS project has implemented and deployed an o
rchestration solution that target intensive compute under tight deadlines,
redundancy by dispatching on multiple compute centers and cloud resources
, and transparent access to datasets to complete a situation assessment. T
his effort is reaching deployment and will be validated on the LEXIS infra
structure and accelerator technology.\n\nDomain: CS and Math, Emerging App
